Our 4 Day Professional Plastering Course
This intensive plastering courses will enable you to prepare any surface prior tiling work or simply complete a paying customers full ceiling or wall plastering job to a quality standard. You will cover skimming, dot and dabbing, browning floats and floor screeding on this course
You will be working in your own room sized bay and have to complete a full plaster job from the boarding out of walls and ceilings to the final skim coat, You will also be working on brick walls for your rendering and dot and dabbing, angle beading etc. We keep the numbers down to a minimum so we can give more individual attention. As well as learning all the tricks of the trade in plastering to get you up to speed quickly, you will be taken through a full understanding of running a self employed plastering business from tools to pricing jobs and dealing with customers, a full detailed information handout book will be given to all students, this valuable book will detail all the different surface preparation and different situations that you are likely to come across when plastering for a living out in the real world, plasterers alone can earn up to £250 per day

1 Day Coving and skimming over Artex Course
This valuable one day plastering course can be added on to the 4 or 8 day plastering courses we do, this course includes fitting coving to ceilings, cutting 
internal and external mitres, You will be skimming over the Artexing you have done to end up with a smooth finish,
These skills are a must as many people want their ceilings back smooth again after previous artexing has been done and finished off neatly with the coving, make sure you dont loose out by not being able to offer this service

(Because our courses start at 8.45am and finish at 6.30pm every day, 2 hours longer than a normal tiling course, It is a five day course content, run over 4 days)

1 Day Natural Stone Tiling Courses.

This 1 day course is a fantastic addition to our 4 day course above
You will gain a full understanding of all the natural stone tiles, marble, slate, granite, porcelain, travertine, terraccotta etc. You will be fixing slate tiles to the floor and marble to the walls in this course as well as drilling holes and cutting them with diamond tipped cutting tools, you will gain an understanding of all the appropriate sealers that go with these tiles as well. Natural stone tiling usualy pays twice the money of ceramics and the demand for fixing these type of tiles is high

4 DAY PLUMBING COURSE
This comprehensive intensive fast track Plumbing course is a fantastic addition
to any tiler or plasterer, take away the problems of relying on other tradesmen to work with you, This course simply makes life easier for you with a bonus of making more money.
We will teach you the easiest methods to shut off the hot and cold water, drain down, take out and replace all the sanitary ware, wash basin and toilet using all push fittings and compression fitting along with flexible and copper pipes that can be easily connected in any situation, pipe bending and copper soldered joints are used also, no prior plumbing skills are necessary for this course, as with all our courses they are extensively backed up with pre typed up note information handouts for you to take home with you after you leave the course, You will have your own full bathroom unit to compete and fully test all the joints, to baths , showers, toilet hand basins etc live under normal water pressure

NVQ 2 ASSESSMENTS
FREE NVQ 2 ASSESSMENTS AVAILABLE FOR
WALL AND FLOOR TILING
PLASTERING
You can obtain your NVQ Level 2 qualification with us if you have proof of trading as wall and floor tiler or plasterer
We are a CAA registered centre equipt to deliver this method of certification. OSAT, on site assessment training)
Funding is available through us from Train To Gain,
OSAT route (you are assessed in your own time at your place of work)
An assessor will be appointed to you and he will take you through your NVQ 2 qualification at your place of work
